Connecting your nugs account
Getting started couldn’t be simpler:
1. Navigate to Settings > Services in Roon
2. Locate nugs in the list and click Sign In
3. Enter your nugs credentials
4. You’re ready to explore!

Finding nugs content
nugs brings an entirely new type of content to Roon: live shows. These aren’t traditional albums — they’re complete concert recordings captured as performed, with distinctive ticket-shaped artwork that makes them instantly recognizable in Roon.
The best place to start is on your favorite artists’ pages, where nugs content appears in two places:
- The OVERVIEW tab: A new “Live Shows” section featuring latest and most popular performances
- The brand-new SHOWS tab: A dedicated tab for SHOWS on artist pages
You can also browse the complete nugs catalog from the dedicated nugs section in your Roon sidebar, which includes:
- Followed Artists
- Recently Added Shows
- Most Popular Shows
- Recommended Shows
- Featured Artists
- Browse by Artist or Year
The MY NUGS tab of the nugs section is where your nugs library resides.
When searching for nugs content, scroll past the usual Tracks and Albums sections to find Shows, where you can search by:
- LOCATIONS: Find shows by venue (Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Madison Square Garden, The Fillmore, etc.)
- SONGS: Discover performances of specific tracks
Note: nugs shows display metadata exactly as it appears in the nugs app — complete with venue information, set breaks, and show notes like “cut short because of thunderstorms!” This metadata passthrough ensures new shows appear in Roon immediately, often just hours after the final encore.
Playing and enjoying nugs content
Once you’ve found a show you want to hear, nugs content works seamlessly with Roon’s features:
